For those who have never played it, and these people do exist, the idea is that you have to hit the round disc with your paddle and get it into your opponent’s goal. The winner is the one who scores the most goals.

It’s easy really, but there can be a tendency for overplaying your hand, which either sends the disc off the table or results in shouts of “Ouch!” as your opponent’s fingers receive a resounding blow on the knuckles.

Air Hockey can obviously be played indoors, but because it’s very heavy, it would have to be on a ground floor with good access.

Great fun nonetheless.
